Inside of you is the courage to change, believe it!

Are you feeling stuck? Is there something not right about your life and you want clarity? Moreover, do you want change and to improve your quality of life?

Self-improvement requires transformation . . .

In the Healing Arts the caterpillar, cocoon and butterfly are metaphors describing the human process of change within from the old self to the new self. The old self is the part of a person that is stuck in some pattern much like a caterpillar is stuck crawling on the ground with narrow vision, as its range of perception is limited. By contrast, the new self is the part of the person that is free from old debilitating patterns much like a butterfly is free to fly after the big transformation in the cocoon. When a person is free of self-imposed limitations she can see clear and like a butterfly she has a wide range of perception.

How does a person go from being stuck to being free? Like a caterpillar she needs to enter into some sort of cocoon that can facilitate change. Counseling is such a cocoon.

Psychology and Life Coaching:

Counseling, whether it is Psychology or Life Coaching, can be very transformational. Dr. Marconi uses Psychology when appropriate for helping her client resolve past issues (e.g., childhood abuse, domestic confrontations, family conflict, etc.) and she uses Life Coaching (goal setting) to help her client create a better future in one or more life areas (e.g., relationships, career, health). Although Psychology is geared toward cleaning up past struggles and Life Coaching is geared toward manifesting a better future both forms of counseling start with the thoughts in the mind. Real change occurs when the thoughts in the mind change. When the thoughts change then the emotions change and then the physical level reflects those inner changes. With that being said, Mental Health is everything. Mental Health is where anything begins.

Are you ready to look at your mind and start your journey toward positive change? If so, read on.
